Joseph Miceli’s football journey began early, starting in kindergarten with the Northern Valley Eagles feeder program. Growing up with two older brothers, competition was part of everyday life, helping shape his toughness and love for the game. His biggest influence, however, came from home. Miceli credits his father for inspiring him to play football and for teaching him the fundamentals that built his foundation.
Miceli played his 8th grade season in Old Tappan, New Jersey, where his team finished with an impressive 9–2 record. That season reinforced one of the most important lessons of his young career: trust the process. It’s a mindset that continues to guide his development both on and off the field.
Known for his aggressive style of play, Miceli brings a relentless defensive approach, always attacking the ball. Offensively, he runs with power and isn’t afraid of contact. His physical style, combined with his energy, has made him a natural leader—one teammates enjoy lining up alongside.
Miceli models his game after former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow, admiring his passion, leadership, and faith. That same heart and intensity show up in Miceli’s play, especially on big stages.
As a dual-threat athlete, Miceli brings excitement and versatility to the All-American game. His intensity allows him to impact the game on both sides of the ball, including the ability to contribute at safety.
Looking ahead, Miceli will attend Northern Valley Old Tappan High School, where he is expected to see time at quarterback and middle linebacker. With his leadership, physicality, and commitment to growth, Miceli is a player to watch as he takes the next step in his football career.
