The off season for athletes is a time for rest. The off season for elite athletes is more important than the regular season. 


At 10am in the heart of Nashville, on the campus of Montgomery Bell Academy, you can find Riley Howard developing current pros and the next crop of NFL draft eligible talent.  

 

In a 2 day span we witnessed Howard, train Kenny Minchey QB at the University of Kentucky , Jackson Killberg QB at Colgate,  

Running Back Alex Broome, high school legend, and former Boston College standout has transferred to Abilene Christian Texas to become a feature back. 

 

Also featured in the session Tight End Jordan Wilson former Florida State Seminole and  Cincinnati Bengals signee, Hassan Haskins 5 year NFL vet who won a championship at the University of Michigan and has spent time with the Titans and Chargers. 


Another notable name Antwan Roberts the newest horse in the stable for the Arizona Wildcats, Roberts who transferred from Marshall is taking his game to a new level this offseason under Howard.

Among the other players in the sessions was Elijah Young who spent time in the NFL last year with the Kansas CIty Chiefs and the Bills. Young has found a home in the CFL and is still taking his growth as a player seriously. All elite athletes present making each other better, but the athlete with the highest ceiling, in the session, is Virginia Tech’s Ayden Greene.


 Greene is the definition of a star. Greene has an insane catch radius, strong hands, elite jumping ability, and has made the voyage from Blacksburg, VA to Nashville, TN to work on his agility, mobility, explosiveness, and lateral quickness with Howard. 


In a brief conversation with Howard he said “I always incorporate resistance training and I want every rep to look the same.” 


Howard spoke on his evolution and credited the state of the arts facility at MBA, new relationships, and capitalizing on opportunities for growth. 


75% of the players in the session Howard has trained for 8 plus years, his dedication to the game and the commitment to his brand is turning heads across North America. It’s bigger than Nashville, it’s wider than the south, the trajectory of Elite 3 is limitless. 


It’s more than a 7v7 organization. It’s more than a training program. It’s a way of life and a way to more life. A father, family man, coach, A son of Nashville, with deep roots at Tennessee State, Howard has emerged as one of the United States top sport CEO’s.
