Every year a talented class of athletes moves out of the college ranks and a new class enters. All incoming freshmen enter college with high hopes and aspirations of “touching the field early” or simply getting playing time. Many of the athletes on our radar were highly sought after prospects in high school, Below are a few players that have enough star power to change their college program as well as the landscape of college football.
1. DE Keaten Wade University of Colorado - Keaten is arguably one the best overall high school players that we have scouted. Wade began his collegiate career at the University of Kentucky.

After two seasons with the Wildcats, Wade found a home with head coach Deion Sanders. In high school dWade was a dominant player on both offense and defense, similar to his former teammate Travis Hunter. When a guy enters the college ranks as a “HYBRID ATHLETE” he has the ability to do many things at a high level, It can present a challenge for a traditional position coach, who is immune to teaching the game one way. What we do know, is that Wade does his best work on the edge of the field whether at outside linebacker or defensive end.
2024 Season at Colorado:
Games Played: 6
Solo Tackles: 16
Assisted Tackles: 4
Total Tackles: 20
Tackles for Loss: 8
Sacks: 4
Interceptions: 0
Forced Fumbles: 0
We expect Wade to have a larger role in the Buffs defensive scheme this fall. Wade has always possessed natural abilities, if he combines hard work and dedication, his draft stock will rise tremendously. Look for Chauncey Gooden, Jordan Seaton, to be a force on the Oline for the Buffs.
QB Marcel Reed Texas A&M
Marcel Reed is a NFL caliber quarterback entering his 3rd year at Texas A&M. Reed burst onto the national stage starting in the Texas Bowl, where he completed 20 of 33 passes for 361 yards and rushed for a touchdown.

2024 Season:
Appearances: Featured in 10 games, starting seven.
Record: Led the team to a 4–3 record in games he started.
Passing Stats:
Completions: 121 out of 198 attempts.
Completion Percentage: 61.1%.
Yards: 1,572 yards.
Touchdowns: 12 passing touchdowns.
Interceptions: 4 interceptions.
Passer Rating: 143.8.
Rushing Stats:
Attempts: 107 carries.
Yards: 497 rushing yards.
Average: 4.6 yards per carry.
Touchdowns: 6 rushing touchdowns.
Reed's dual-threat capabilities have drawn attention, notably leading the SEC in yards per carry among quarterbacks during the 2024 season. Former Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel praised Reed's growth, highlighting his improved passing and effective use of mobility.
Looking ahead, Reed is expected to continue as the starting quarterback for Texas A&M, with coaches anticipating further development and leadership in the upcoming seasons. We expect Marcel to approach the game with a “Floyd Mayweather” like confidence this fall. He is a worker and he is 100 percent a ”team first guy”.
Right now, he’s the best QB in Texas and one of the best returning players in the nation. Look for the Nashville native to do exceedingly and abundantly for the Aggies under head coach Mike Elko.
QB Arch Manning Texas

Manning will step Into a full time role as the starter for Texas this year after backing up Quin Ewers who has left the program to enter the NFL draft. Manning comes from a lineage of NFL quarterbacks, expect him to perform at a high level. Look for Jerrick Gibson to ease the load for Manning in the passing game.
Safety Caleb Downs Ohio State

Downs came onto our radar in his senior season in the GHSA playoffs. Look for another productive year for the All-American Safety.
5. LB Bryan Longwell Vanderbilt

Longwell came onto our radar while playing at Lipscomb Academy under Trent Dilfer.
We knew then, that he was elite despite of his "ranking/player grade."
Played in all 12 games as a true freshman, recording 36 tackles.
Earned honorable mention All-SEC honors as a specialist.
Notably blocked a punt resulting in a safety in the season opener against Alabama A&M.
2024 Season:
Led the team with 89 tackles, starting all 13 games.
Ranked eighth in the SEC for total tackles and fourth among sophomores.
Recognized as the SEC Defensive Player of the Week following a standout performance against Georgia.
In February 2025, Longwell was appointed vice chair of the SEC Football Leadership Council, reflecting his leadership both on and off the field.
6. WR Maureice Sherrill Vandy

Safety KJ Bolden Georgia

Bolden came onto our radar as a junior in high school. Bolden recorded 58 total tackles, comprising 39 solo tackles and 19 assisted tackles. He also contributed with one sack and one interception. Bolden also took home freshman all-american honors, expect another highly productive year.

QB Cade Klubnik Clemson

RB Devon Starling UTM

OL Connor Meadows Transfer Portal

Former Peabody standout has made a name for himself in the collegiate ranks. Meadows came onto our radar as a senior in high school and has lived up to his potential.
HBCU All - American - 1st team OVC honors look for Meadows to make a huge splash in the transfer portal. Meadows has NFL size and high football IQ. Meadows told us that his phone is blowing up receiving calls from OVC, SEC, and HBCU's that are familiar with him.

DE Caleb Herring Tennessee
Herring is a massive player with great football IQ. We recently spoke with Herring and he is excited about where VOL football is headed.Herring told us there will be no drop offs for the Vol defense. Look for him to be a difference maker on Saturday's as well as Kaleb Beasley, Jakobe Thomas, Boo Carter, and Edwin Spilman.
Bold Prediction : Tennessee will have a top 5 defense next fall.

WR Ayden Greene Virginia Tech

Greene came onto our radar as a JR in high school, winning camp MVP. In our 2 camp Greene displayed an elite ability to track the football as a route runner and win jump ball situations. Since commiting to the program at VT Greene has added muscle mass and appears to be faster, quicker, and more polished as a route runner. Greene played in all 13 games, starting two. He recorded 19 receptions for 268 yards and two touchdowns. Notably, he had a 16-yard touchdown reception against Miami on September 27 and a 14-yard touchdown catch versus Clemson on November 9. Additionally, Greene rushed nine times for 66 yards and a touchdown. In the Duke's Mayo Bowl on January 3, 2025, he achieved six receptions for 115 yards, including a 67-yard reception.
