In a recent one on one video, NIU quarterback Jalen Macon has nothing but good things to say about his program as they progress through spring training.

After leading the NIU offense in the last regular season games, Macon has made it his business to focus on consistency and efficiency.

Instead of focusing on how many touchdowns I throw in practice, I focus on the amount of completions.

If there is a drop, I try to focus on how that drop happens and how I can make that better for my receiving core.
