Name: Jaiden Noel Position: QuarterbackClass: 2027 Height/Weight: 6’0” / 180 lbs
School: Paetow High School – Katy, TX
In the heart of Katy, Texas, where football talent is never in short supply, Jaiden Noel is emerging as one of the most composed and productive quarterbacks in the Class of 2027.
The Paetow High School standout has thrown for 1,136 passing yards and 13 touchdowns so far this season — a strong stat line that reflects his sharp decision-making and growing command of the offense.
Noel began playing football at age 12, inspired by UCLA quarterback Pierce Clarkson, whose dedication and work ethic left a lasting impression during the COVID-19 lockdown.
“Watching Pierce train every day changed my mindset,” Noel said. “It made me take the game seriously.”
Play Style & Skillset
Noel models his game after Shedeur Sanders and C.J. Stroud — cool, calm, and collected in the pocket. He thrives under pressure, makes quick reads, and delivers the ball with accuracy and timing.
“His poise and decision-making are way beyond his age,” one coach said. “You just don’t see many young quarterbacks handle the game the way he does.”
Working under Head Coach David Hicks, Noel has embraced a demanding, detail-focused system. “Coach Hicks wants everything done right — he’s hands-on and tough, but it comes from a place of love,” said Noel.
He’s also worked closely with quarterback coach Audie Dalton, crediting Dalton for sharpening his mechanics, improving his arm strength, and developing his overall QB IQ. “Since Coach Dalton came in, I’ve taken my game to another level.”
Recruiting Outlook
While still early in the recruiting process, Noel has already drawn interest from programs including UNLV, Columbia, Delaware State, UTEP, and Rice. As his tape continues to circulate and his production grows, that list is expected to expand.
At 6’0” and 180 lbs, Noel checks the boxes physically and mentally. He’s a natural leader, a student of the game, and a competitor with clear upside as a next-level quarterback.
Bottom Line:
Jaiden Noel is a high-upside quarterback who combines production, poise, and professionalism. With over 1,100 passing yards, 13 TDs, and the intangibles college coaches covet, he’s a name to know in the 2027 class — and a player ready to rise.
