Long before the bright lights and Friday night crowds, the love for football was already there.
The journey began in sixth grade at Ronald Thornton Middle School, where his path into organized football officially started. But even before stepping onto the field for tackle football, the work was already being put in—alone in the house, throwing and catching the ball to himself, rep after rep. It wasn’t about attention or recognition. Football was simply his passion, and living that dream was always the goal.
Behind that passion stood two constant sources of support: his mother and grandmother. Through every step of the journey, they believed in him, encouraged his love for the game, and made countless sacrifices—not just for him, but for others as well. Their work ethic and commitment shaped the mindset he carries onto the field today.
That mindset shows up in his style of play.
A versatile defensive back, he prides himself on aggressive pass breakups, sure tackling, and refined technique. His ability to shed blocks, control his footwork, and stay disciplined in coverage allows him to impact the game in multiple ways. Physical, focused, and technically sound, he plays with an edge while staying true to his fundamentals.
One of his biggest inspirations is NFL defensive back Avieon Terrell. What stands out most isn’t just Terrell’s talent, but his approach—keeping his head down, staying passionate, blocking out the noise, and letting his work speak for itself. It’s a mentality he strives to mirror every day.
That same standard is reinforced at Fort Bend Crawford High school , where playing for his Chargers football team has been a defining experience. Built on four core values—Family, Effort, Toughness, and Discipline—the program has had a major impact on his growth as both a player and a person. David Jackson’s coaching staff welcomed him with open arms, pushed him through adversity, and stood by him even during moments when quitting felt easier.
Looking ahead to the USA Top 100 All-American Game, expectations are simple but demanding. He plans to give 100 percent on every rep, compete on every snap, and lock up whoever lines up across from him—bringing maximum effort and intensity every play.
Off the field, the recruiting process is gaining momentum. He currently holds an offer from HH Prep Academy and has been in communication with Division I programs including Texas State, Sam Houston, Texas Southern University, as well as D2 and D3 programs. Through it all, development remains the priority—not only as an athlete, but in the classroom as well.
With passion, discipline, and family at the foundation, his journey is far from finished. And if his path so far is any indication, the best football is still ahead.
