In a high-octane matchup, TCU narrowly defeated Colorado in a game full of explosive plays and lead changes, ending with a 35–21 victory for the Horned Frogs.
Colorado struck first as quarterback Kaidon Salter connected with Omarion Miller on a six-yard touchdown pass. Salter continued to lead the Buffaloes’ offense, scoring on a 10-yard scramble to put Colorado up 14–0 early.
TCU responded quickly. Quarterback Josh Hoover punched in a touchdown on a QB sneak, and later connected with Eric McAlister on a 23-yard fade pass after intercepting a Salter attempt, tying the game at 14–14.
Hoover then found #12 Lafayette Kaiuway on a 10-yard touchdown pass to give TCU a 21–14 lead, only for Colorado to answer immediately.
Salter and Miller connected again on a 34-yard touchdown strike, knotting the game at 21–21.

The Horned Frogs regained the lead as Hoover connected with Joseph Manjack on an 18-yard touchdown pass, putting TCU up 28–21. Hoover added another big play, finding Eric McAlister for a 21-yard touchdown pass late in the game, sealing the victory.
The game highlighted both teams’ explosive offenses, but TCU’s ability to capitalize on turnovers and make key plays in the red zone proved decisive.
Final Score: TCU 35, Colorado 21
