In front of a roaring crowd of over 100,000 fans at Kyle Field, Texas A&M delivered a commanding performance, defeating Mississippi State 31–9 in a game that showcased the Aggies’ offensive rhythm and defensive dominance.
Mississippi State opened the scoring with a field goal from kicker Kyle Ferrie, taking an early 3–0 lead after Texas A&M’s defense held firm in the red zone. The Bulldogs added a few more field goals later, but they never found the end zone as the Aggies controlled all phases of play.

After a few early offensive miscues, A&M quarterback Marcel Reed settled in and found his rhythm. Reed connected with KC Concepcion on a 34-yard touchdown strike to give the Aggies a 7–3 lead and spark the home crowd.
Reed’s dual-threat ability kept the Bulldogs’ defense guessing. On a perfectly executed read option, he broke free for a seven-yard rushing touchdown, making it 21–3 midway through the third quarter.

Mario Craver then capped off another strong Aggie drive with a seven-yard jet sweep touchdown, putting Texas A&M up 28–3. Later in the game, Blake Shapen connected with Brennen Thompson on a 44-yard touchdown pass, making it 28–9.
To finish off the scoring, Randy Bond drilled a late-game field goal, sealing the 31–9 victory for the Aggies.
The Aggies’ defense dominated throughout, holding Mississippi State to just field goals while keeping consistent pressure on the quarterback.
With this win, Marcel Reed continues to solidify his reputation as one of the SEC’s rising stars—showing leadership, poise, and precision in front of a raucous home crowd.
Final Score: Texas A&M 31, Mississippi State 9
