Under the Radar Georgia ATH has Explosive Senior Season

An elite ATH lies under the radar down in Powder Springs, Ga. Hillgrove High School's Sean Cooper II put many on notice after racking up 1,000 yards and 12 Touchdowns during his senior campaign.

No Lack of Competition Cooper played against some of the top competition in the country this year, playing teams which included North Cobb HS (GA) who was nationally ranked in the Top 25, and Marietta HS (GA). Despite the tough competition, Cooper was able to put up very respectable numbers and make a major impact on his team. With Cooper's contributions, Hillgrove HS was able to rush for over 145 yards per game. Cooper’s Elite Versatility Cooper also proved himself as a legit receiving threat as he acquired 435 of those 1000 yards through the air. During his High School career, he has caught passes out of the backfield, slot, and even at the outside receiver position. Cooper's versatility and abilities allowed Hillgrove to be able to put him in motion, constantly having the defense on their toes. Play-Style Cooper is a patient, yet explosive runner. When he finds the lane, he doesn't hesitate whatsoever. Although very small, Cooper has shown the ability to break a multitude of tackles, proving himself as a tough and physical runner. Cooper is also an elite return man, who makes a multitude of plays on special teams. Hillgrove has a relatively balanced offense, but when Cooper gets hot, they continue to feed him on the ground or through the air. Where will Cooper End Up? Although the film is impressive, Cooper does not hold any D1 offers. Cooper still has time to catch a coach’s attention and gain an offer. With his versatility, Cooper could end up playing the Slot WR role at the next level, along with the running back position. His versatility should attract college scouts and coaches.
